BMWK Weekend Travel Guide: Miami-Jazz In The Gardens!

Via: BlackAndMarriedWithKids.com

We couldn’t wrap up festival month here on BMWK without highlighting one of our favorites…the Jazz in the Gardens music festival. The city of Miami Gardens hosts its 7th annual music festival at Sun Life Stadium with another amazing lineup.

Last years’ festival welcomed 45,000 music fans. They enjoyed great performances by EnVogue, Musiq Soulchild, and Lauryn Hill to name a few. A true weekend celebration, the festival of music starts on Saturday, March 17, with Kem, Ledisi and Jill Scott gracing the stage (separate performances). The party continues on Sunday (3/18) with unforgettable performances by Kenny G., Kevin Eubanks and Jazz Angel Nicole Henry. The Queen of Hip-Hop, Mary J. Blige will also rock the stage. Bringing the house down Sunday night is none other than Patti-Patti, Ms. Patti LaBelle. Hosting the entire weekend of music for the first time is McLyte.

Make this a fabulous weekend with a lot of shopping, strolls on the beach and fantastic foods in a fabulous city. Enjoy great music while you getaway in a beautiful city.

Tickets are on sale now! Group tickets are also available.
